Louisiana High School Basketball - Northwest tops Iota
February 3, 2023: Opelousas, LA 70570 Northwest Raiders (Opelousas, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Iota Bulldogs (Iota, LA), 49-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Church Point (Church Point, LA) to play the Bears in a 3A District 4 bout on Monday, February 6. The Bears come into the bout with a record of 19-9. Church Point won 72-39 in their recent league bout against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Pine Prairie Panthers (Pine Prairie, LA) in a 3A District 4 bout, on Monday, February 6. Iota will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record.
