Kansas High School Basketball - Lincoln can't hold off Pike Valley
February 3, 2023: Lincoln, KS 67455 The Pike Valley Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Lincoln Leopards to 39 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osborne for a Northern Plains contest on Tuesday, February 7. Pike Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 81-48 non-league win over Natoma (Natoma, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-1.
The Leopards (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] (Miltonvale, KS). The Warriors enter the Northern Plains contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Southern Cloud co-op [Miltonvale/Glasco] nudged Chase (Chase, KS), 36-35, in a league contest.
