Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Northeast Vernon County Knights (Walker, MO) and the host Miami Eagles (Amoret, MO), saw Northeast Vernon County's basketball squad overcome Miami by a tally of 49-41.

With the victory, Northeast Vernon County improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bronaugh (Bronaugh, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Golden Valley Vernon challenge on Friday, February 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-18.
