Minnesota High School Basketball - Park Rapids tops Thief River Falls
February 3, 2023: Thief River Falls, MN 56701 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Park Rapids Panthers (Park Rapids, MN) and the host Thief River Falls Prowlers (Thief River Falls, MN), saw Park Rapids's basketball squad knock off Thief River Falls by a count of 58-38.
With the victory, Park Rapids upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hawley (Hawley, MN) to play the Nuggets in a AA Section 8 challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Nuggets come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Hawley lost 69-50 in their recent league challenge against Barnesville (Barnesville, MN)
Next up, the Prowlers play the Red Lake Falls Eagles (Red Lake Falls, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Thief River Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 60-46 non-league loss to Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN).
