February 3, 2023: White Castle, LA 70788 The White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 48-35 in Friday's league test.
The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their test against West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA). The Saints go into the non-league test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, West Feliciana notched a victory over St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-43, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Ascension Catholic for a 1A District 8 test on Tuesday, February 7. St. John will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 60-39 league win over East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.
