February 3, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30501 The Morgan County Bulldogs soccer team scored 3 points and limited the host Gainesville Red Elephants to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) in a 3A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, February 7. Morgan County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.
The Red Elephants now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chestatee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Gainesville will face a War Eagles team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-1.
