Illinois High School Basketball - Willowbrook ripped by Christ the King
February 3, 2024: Chicago, IL 60644 The Christ the King Gladiators basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Willowbrook Warriors to 29 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Gladiators now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicago Christian for a Chicagoland Christian contest on Tuesday, February 6. Christ the King will battle a Knights team coming off a 58-54 league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL). The Knights record now stands at 8-17.
The Warriors (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes enter the non-league contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, York was routed by Lake Park (Roselle, IL), 38-35, in a non-league contest.
