The Springdale Prep Lions basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting DC International Dragons to 21 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairfax Christian for a Northern Virginia contest on Tuesday, February 6. Springdale Prep will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 68-53 league loss to Rock Creek Christian Academy (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 26-6.
The Dragons (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, KIPP DC Legacy College Prep triumphed over KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC), 60-45, in a non-league contest.
