South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Valley tipped by DeSmet
February 3, 2024: DeSmet, SD 57231 The DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Sioux Valley Cossacks to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flandreau for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. DeSmet will meet a Fliers team coming off a 54-38 league win over Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Fliers record now stands at 10-6.
The Cossacks (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hamlin (Hayti, SD). The Chargers enter the A Region 2 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Hamlin nudged Castlewood (Castlewood, SD), 71-47, in a non-league contest.
