Ohio High School Basketball - Eastern edges New Hope Christian Academy
February 3, 2024: Circleville, OH 43113 The Eastern Eagles (Beaver, OH) basketball nipped the host New Hope Christian Academy Statesmen (Circleville, OH), 65-64 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their test against South Gallia (Crown City, OH). The Rebels go into the Southern Ohio II test with a 8-8 record. In their last test, South Gallia was tipped by Northwest (McDermott, OH), 68-50, in a league test.
The Statesmen now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Horizon Science Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. New Hope Christian Academy will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 83-42 league win over Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 10-11.
