February 3, 2024: Waterbury, CT 06708 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) and the host Kennedy Eagles (Waterbury, CT), saw Kolbe-Cathedral's basketball squad wallop Kennedy by a tally of 89-54.
With the victory, Kolbe-Cathedral improves its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to confront the Panthers in a Southwest challenge on Monday, February 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Pomperaug lost 61-54 in their recent league challenge against Immaculate (Danbury, CT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 73-44 league loss to Torrington (Torrington, CT).
