Ohio High School Basketball - Westerville South crushes Lakewood
February 3, 2024: Hebron, OH 43025 Westerville South Wildcats (Westerville, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH), 60-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Westerville South upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Canal Winchester (Canal Winchester, OH) to play the Indians in a Ohio Capital - Capital bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-15. Canal Winchester lost 65-47 in their recent league bout against Westerville North (Westerville, OH)
Next up, the Lancers play the Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH) in a Licking County - Buckeye bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Newark (Newark, OH).
