Kentucky High School Basketball - Martin County thwarts Tug Valley
February 3, 2024: Inez, KY 41224 The Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Tug Valley Panthers (Williamson, WV), 78-66 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY). The Hornets go into the District 57 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Magoffin County notched a victory over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY), 77-56, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Mingo Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6.
