New York High School Basketball - Nazareth edges Mt. St. Michael Academy
February 3, 2024: Brooklyn, NY 11203 The Nazareth Kingsmen (Brooklyn, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY), 52-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Kingsmen (15-5) will now prepare for their test against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Terriers go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, St. Francis Prep was tipped by St. Raymond Boys (Bronx, NY), 74-60, in a non-league test.
The Mountaineers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host St. Raymond Boys for a Catholic AA - New York test on Tuesday, February 6. Mt. St. Michael Academy will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 74-60 non-league win over St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Ravens record now stands at 18-3.
