February 3, 2024: Grand Rapids, MI 49506 The Watervliet Panthers basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Ottawa Hills Bengals to 45 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kellogg for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Watervliet will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
The Bengals (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI). The Knights enter the Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Kenowa Hills ran past Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI), 55-34, in a league contest.
