February 3, 2024: Broomfield, CO 80023 The Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Fossil Ridge SaberCats (Fort Collins, CO), 63-37 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lightning (8-5) will now prepare for their test against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Impalas go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Poudre was trounced by Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO), 61-39, in a non-league test.
The SaberCats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Rocky Mountain for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Fossil Ridge will encounter a Lobos squad coming off a 40-34 non-league win over Horizon (Thornton, CO). The Lobos record now stands at 11-2.
