Ohio High School Basketball - Archbishop Hoban fells Start
February 3, 2024: Akron, OH 44306 Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Start Spartans (Toledo, OH), 52-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Archbishop Hoban upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Knights host Green (Uniontown, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 12-8. Green won 48-34 in their recent league bout against McKinley (Canton, OH)
Next up, the Spartans play the Scott Bulldogs (Toledo, OH) in a Toledo City bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Start will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 54-40 non-league win over Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).
