New Jersey High School Basketball - Cranford trounces South Plainfield
February 3, 2024: Cranford, NJ 07016 The Cranford Cougars (Cranford, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 53-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (15-6) will now prepare for their test against Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the Union County - Valley test with a 9-8 record.
The Tigers now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Carteret for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. South Plainfield will encounter a Ramblers squad coming off a 56-20 non-league win over Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Ramblers record now stands at 12-8.
