Illinois High School Basketball - Homewood-Flossmoor tops Edison Academy
February 3, 2024: Flossmoor, IL 60422 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) and the visiting Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI), saw Homewood-Flossmoor's basketball squad knock off Edison Academy by a tally of 56-48.
With the victory, Homewood-Flossmoor improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Lockport (Lockport, IL) to play the Porters in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Porters come into the challenge with a record of 12-17. Lockport lost 59-45 in their recent league challenge against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL)
Next up, the Pioneers play the West Bloomfield Lakers (West Bloomfield, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Edison Academy will attempt to improve on its 18-1 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 13-1 record after their 71-59 league loss to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH).
