February 3, 2024: Higganum, CT 06441 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), by a count of 57-36.
The Cougars (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against North Branford (North Branford, CT). The Thunderbirds go into the Shoreline outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, North Branford smashed Portland (Portland, CT), 63-29, in a league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Avon for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Wethersfield will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 59-33 non-league loss to Manchester (Manchester, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-9.
