New Jersey High School Basketball - Hanover Park overwhelms Newton
February 3, 2024: East Hanover, NJ 07936 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) and the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), saw Hanover Park's basketball squad wallop Newton by a tally of 53-29.
With the victory, Hanover Park improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ) to confront the Golden Panthers in a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Golden Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Pequannock lost 54-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Chatham (Chatham, NJ)
Next up, the Braves confront the Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Newton will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 33-32 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ).
