New Jersey High School Basketball - Woodbury nips Holy Spirit
February 3, 2024: Woodbury, NJ 08096 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Woodbury Thundering Herd (Woodbury, NJ) and the visiting Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ), saw Woodbury's basketball squad hold off Holy Spirit by a tally of 64-63.
With the victory, Woodbury improves its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Thundering Herd travel to Wildwood Catholic (North Wildwood, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. Wildwood Catholic won 61-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans play the Cedar Creek Pirates (Egg Harbor City, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Holy Spirit will attempt to improve on its 14-8 season record.
