February 3, 2024: Detroit, MI 48207 Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the King Crusaders (Detroit, MI) and the visiting Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI), witnessed King's basketball squad topple Voyageur Academy by a margin of 40-31.
The Crusaders (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Cass Tech (Detroit, MI). The Technicians go into the Detroit Public II test with a 7-8 record.
The Cougar now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Voyageur Academy will encounter a squad coming off a 61-33 non-league loss to Brookside (Sheffield, OH). The record now stands at 123-431.
