Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Line Mountain nips Tri-Valley

February 3, 2024: Herndon, PA 17830

Line Mountain Eagles (Herndon, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tri-Valley Bulldogs (Hegins, PA), 35-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Line Mountain upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Eagles host South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 6-11. South Williamsport lost 39-30 in their recent league bout against Bucktail (Farwell, PA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA) in a Schuylkill County 3 bout, on Monday, February 5. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-19 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 53-46 league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
