February 3, 2024: Portsmouth, VA 23701 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA), saw Manor's basketball squad overcome Nansemond River by a tally of 54-39.
With the victory, Manor improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA) to confront the Titans in a Eastern challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 14-3. Lake Taylor won 57-11 in their recent league challenge against Churchland (Portsmouth, VA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Nansemond River will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Bruins come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 64-39 league loss to Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA).
