Virginia High School Basketball - Indian River fells Denbigh
February 3, 2024: Chesapeake, VA 23325 Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), 56-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Indian River upgrades its record to 14-2 on the season. The Braves travel to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Oscar Smith won 64-48 in their recent non-league bout against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)
Next up, the Patriots play the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 63-35 non-league loss to Phoebus (Hampton, VA).
