Westfall Mustangs (Williamsport, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs (Lynchburg, OH), 41-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Westfall upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Mustangs host Unioto (Chillicothe, OH) to play the Shermans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Shermans go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Unioto won 46-25 in their recent league bout against Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lynchburg-Clay will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record.
