In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Wilmington Friends Quakers basketball team scored a close 41-38 triumph over the Archmere Academy Auks.

The Quakers (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wilmington Christian (Hockessin, DE). The Warriors go into the Independent Schools contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Wilmington Christian was tipped by Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE), 62-55, in a non-league contest.
