Virginia High School Basketball - William Monroe routs Covenant Christian Academy
February 3, 2025: Warrenton, VA 20187 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting William Monroe Dragons basketball team scored a big 64-34 triumph over the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles.
The Dragons (16-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Eagles go into the Valley contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, East Rockingham was trounced by Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA), 73-62, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Holy Family Academy Vendeens (Manassas, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Covenant Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Vendeens go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 51-22 non-league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Warrenton, VA).
