With the victory, Haynesville advances its record to 10-1 on the year. The Golden Tornado travel to Cedar Creek (Ruston, LA) to meet the Cougars in a 1A District 1 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Giants now own a 16-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibsland-Coleman for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. Green Oaks will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 80-48 league win over Saline (Saline, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-9.
