Kentucky High School Basketball - Magoffin County knocks off Menifee County
February 3, 2025: Frenchburg, KY 40322 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY) and the host Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY), observed Magoffin County's basketball team overcome Menifee County by a score of 67-52.
The Hornets (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Morgan County (West Liberty, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-10 record. In their last challenge, Morgan County defeated East Carter (Grayson, KY), 61-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Menifee County will attempt to improve on its 4-17 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 61-46 league loss to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY).
