Iowa High School Basketball - Washington fells Mid-Prairie
February 3, 2025: Wellman, IA 52356 The Washington Demons basketball team scored 68 points and limited the host Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks to 50 in the Demons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Demons now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Madison for a Southeast game on Friday, February 7. Washington will confront a Bloodhounds team coming off a 74-67 non-league loss to West Hancock (Britt, IA). The Bloodhounds record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Mid-Prairie falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Golden hawks host Tipton (Tipton, IA) to confront the Tigers in a River Valley game on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 10-7. Tipton won 54-36 in their recent league game against Durant (Durant, IA)
