Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly overwhelms Lansing Catholic
February 3, 2025: Lansing, MI 48917 The Waverly Warriors basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Lansing Catholic Cougars to 34 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Lansing for a game on Friday, February 7. Waverly will confront a Trojans team coming off a 52-38 non-league win over East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Lansing Catholic falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI) to confront the Greyhounds in a game on Tuesday, February 4. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 1-2.
