Illinois High School Basketball - Cissna Park holds off Tuscola
February 3, 2025: Tuscola, IL 61953 The Cissna Park Timberwolves basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Tuscola Warriors to 35 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Monday.
The Timberwolves now possess a 20-5 record. They play next when they travel to St. Joseph-Ogden for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Cissna Park will confront a Spartans team coming off a 60-21 league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 9-15.
With the loss, Tuscola falls to 14-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to St. Teresa (Decatur, IL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 16-7. St. Teresa won 43-36 in their recent non-league game against Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL)
