Wisconsin High School Basketball - Clinton fells South Beloit
February 3, 2025: Clinton, WI 53525 The Clinton Cougars basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting South Beloit Sobos to 38 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cougars now have a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Big Foot for a Rock Valley - Rock game on Thursday, February 6. Clinton will confront a Chiefs team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-13.
With the loss, South Beloit falls to 12-12 on the campaign. The Sobos travel to Oregon (Oregon, IL) to confront the Hawks in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 10-14. Oregon lost 49-41 in their recent league game against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL)
