February 3, 2025: Schofield, WI 54476 Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI), 36-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Eau Claire North advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Huskies host Menomonie (Menomonie, WI) to meet the Mustangs in a Big Rivers match on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 10-10. Menomonie lost 64-52 in their recent league match against Hudson (Hudson, WI)
The Evergreens now own a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wausau West for a Wisconsin Valley match on Thursday, February 6. D.C. Everest will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 71-32 non-league loss to Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 6-14.
