Illinois High School Basketball - Providence Catholic overwhelms IC Catholic Prep
February 3, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 The Providence Catholic Celtics basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting IC Catholic Prep Knights to 25 in the Celtics non-league triumph on Monday.
The Celtics now possess a 17-10 record. They play next when they travel to Montini Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Providence Catholic will confront a Broncos team coming off a 68-65 non-league win over Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 18-8.
With the loss, IC Catholic Prep falls to 13-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to confront the Meteors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Meteors go into the game with a record of 8-16. De La Salle lost 57-23 in their recent non-league game against Marist (Chicago, IL)
