February 3, 2025: Onekama, MI 49675 Onekama Portagers (Onekama, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Morley Stanwood Mohawks (Morley, MI), 63-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Onekama advances its record to 11-3 on the year. The Portagers host Glen Lake (Maple City, MI) to meet the Lakers in a Northwest match on Wednesday, February 5. The Lakers enter the match with a record of 6-8. Glen Lake won 66-41 in their recent league match against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI)
The Mohawks now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calvary Baptist Academy for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Morley Stanwood will meet a Kings squad coming off a 61-26 non-league win over International Academy (Flint, MI). The Kings record now stands at 6-8.
