South Dakota High School Basketball - Roncalli triumphant over Tiospa Zina
February 3, 2025: Aberdeen, SD 57401 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD) and the visiting Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), observed Roncalli's basketball team overwhelm Tiospa Zina by a score of 64-26.
The Cavaliers (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Bulldogs come into the A Region 1 challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Milbank was routed by Hamlin (Hayti, SD), 62-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Wambdi encounter the Flandreau Indian Indians (Flandreau, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Tiospa Zina will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 52-49 non-league win over Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD).
