The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) and the host Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), witnessed Covington's basketball squad run past Springfield by a count of 75-65.

With the victory, Covington advances its record to 17-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Hammond (Hammond, LA) to meet the Tornadoes in a 5A District 6 battle on Friday, February 6.
