Maryland High School Basketball - Catoctin can't hold off Boonsboro
February 4, 2022: Boonsboro, MD 21713 The Catoctin Cougars basketball team (Thurmont, MD), was nudged 69-67 in Friday's league battle with the host Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD)
The Warriors now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brunswick for a CMC battle on Tuesday, February 8. Boonsboro will battle a Railroaders team coming off a 61-58 league win over Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Railroaders record now stands at 2-12.
The Cougars (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against South Carroll (Sykesville, MD). The Cavaliers come into the Carroll County battle with a 6-7 record. In their last battle, South Carroll edged Liberty (Sykesville, MD), 60-56, in a league battle.
