Delaware High School Basketball - Glasgow nips Brandywine
February 4, 2022: Wilmington, DE 19803 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Glasgow Dragons (Newark, DE) and the host Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE), saw Glasgow's basketball squad hold off Brandywine by a margin of 47-42.
The Dragons (2-8) will now prepare for their test against DuPont (Wilmington, DE). The Tigers go into the Blue Hen Flight - B test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, DuPont got by Concord (Wilmington, DE), 59-57, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Christiana for a Blue Hen Flight - B test on Tuesday, February 8. Brandywine will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 68-35 non-league loss to Chester (Chester, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-8.
