The Zachary Broncos basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Central Wildcats to 41 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now sport a 25-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul's for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 5. Zachary will battle a Wolves team coming off a 77-31 league win over Covington (Covington, LA). The Wolves record now stands at 22-5.

The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets enter the 5A District 4 contest with a 18-9 record. In their last contest, Denham Springs was routed by Scotlandville (Baton Rouge, LA), 74-32, in a league contest.
