Sandy Valley Sidewinders (Sandy Valley, NV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV), 62-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Sandy Valley upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Sidewinders travel to GV Christian (Henderson, NV) to play the Guardians in a 1A Southern bout on Friday, February 11. The Guardians go into the bout with a record of 12-7.

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Mountain View Christian Saints (Las Vegas, NV) in a 1A Southern bout, on Friday, February 11. Indian Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
