The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders basketball team scored 89 points and held the visiting Horizon Hawks to 18 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Villages Charter for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 10. Lake Highland Prep will meet a Buffalo team coming off a 77-45 non-league loss to Eustis (Eustis, FL). The Buffalo record now stands at 12-14.

The Hawks (12-11) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Bay (Melbourne, FL). The Pirates enter the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Palm Bay triumphed over Cocoa (Cocoa, FL), 44-36, in a non-league contest.
