California High School Basketball - Gunn tops University Prep Academy
February 4, 2022: Palo Alto, CA 94306 Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA), 27-19 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gunn upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA) to play the Matadors in a bout on Wednesday, February 9. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 9-6. Monta Vista won 48-39 in their recent league bout against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)
Next up, the Golden Eagles play the King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 5. University Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 22-16 league loss to Notre Dame (Belmont, CA).
