In Saturday's non-league outing, the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) basketball squad beat the host Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY), by a count of 67-58.

The Crusaders (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY). The Lancers go into the Monsignor Martin outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's defeated Western New York Maritime Charter (Buffalo, NY), 69-52, in a non-league outing.
