Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) and the host Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE), saw Bennington's basketball squad hold off Omaha North by a tally of 64-63.

With the victory, Bennington improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Badgers host Roncalli Catholic (Omaha, NE) to confront the Crimson Pride in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Crimson Pride come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Roncalli Catholic won 59-40 in their recent non-league challenge against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Buena Vista (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Omaha North will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The come into the challenge with a 0-19 record after their 92-12 league loss to Millard South (Omaha, NE).
