February 4, 2023: Reading, PA 19611 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Berks Catholic Saints (Reading, PA) and the visiting Wyomissing Spartans (Wyomissing, PA), saw Berks Catholic's basketball squad wallop Wyomissing by a tally of 77-40.
With the victory, Berks Catholic improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA) to confront the Blazers in a Berks County 1 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Blazers come into the challenge with a record of 3-14. Daniel Boone lost 84-52 in their recent league challenge against Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Fleetwood Tigers (Fleetwood, PA) in a Berks County 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Wyomissing will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 20-1 record after their 65-45 league win over Hamburg (Hamburg, PA).
