February 4, 2023: Grundy, VA 24614 In Saturday's non-league match, the host Mountain Mission Challengers basketball team scored a decisive 77-55 triumph over the Capital City HomeSchool Warriors.
In their next game, the Challengers meet the Paintsville Tigers (Paintsville, KY) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 8. Mountain Mission will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record.
With the defeat, Capital City HomeSchool moves to 13-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to Boys' Home (Covington, VA) to meet the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 11. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 2-6. Boys' Home lost 81-35 in their recent non-league match against Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV)
